This website is a collaborative effort between the Iowa Department of Human Services (IDHS) and the Iowa State University Child Welfare Project. This site serves all DHS Service Worker Staff and Supervisors, as well as Providers. Bookmark this page for all your training needs!

The Service Training Site is a Learning Management System (LMS) and allows you to view and enroll in current and upcoming trainings. The courses are sorted into several series: New Social Worker Training Series, Ongoing Training Series, Webinars and ICNs, and Past Trainings. To view a description of each category and a course list click on each training series link in the Training Categories tab above.

All DHS service workers and supervisors have an account on the Service Training Site. The first time you login you will need to change your password.

Providers will need to establish their accounts before they can register for training. DHS staff has priority for slots.
